We are a restaurant and sports lounge in Candidasa. Guests come to us for the food, the wood-fired pizza, and a place that is easy to return to, whether staying nearby or living locally.

We never set out to be a formal destination with a rigid idea of how guests should dine. We have always worked because we are relaxed, familiar and easy to return to.

Guests come to us for breakfast, linger over lunch, return for wood-fired pizza, or catch a game upstairs at The Dining Room Sports Bar before heading back to a villa or hotel.

The restaurant and The Dining Room Sports Bar are part of the same address, and our guests use both together, in whatever order suits their day.

The Place

Our restaurant sits among mature greenery, with an open-sided dining room, timber details and the easy pace of East Bali.

It works in the morning, through the heat of the afternoon and into dinner: relaxed enough for a casual meal, with enough atmosphere to make an evening out of it.

Since Day One

The wood-fired oven.

We have baked pizza in the same wood-fired oven since we opened The Dining Room. It is prepared fresh to order, and it is one of the main reasons guests come back, whether dining in or taking it away.

We built The Dining Room around the rhythm of Candidasa, not around passing trends. Travellers, long-stay guests, local residents and returning visitors all use us differently, and that has shaped who we are today.

Our aim is simple: to stay an easy place to come back to, whether for breakfast, dinner, or a requested game upstairs at The Dining Room Sports Bar.
